Wow!!! I can't begin to tell you what a real blessing this book has been to me. It brought back memories of things I experienced and reminded me of stories told in my own family. I could see pictures in my heart and head as I read and was reminded of the God of all, who keeps us and challenges us and has a plan for our lives that we can miss if we are not careful. My heart laughed, cried, and became stressed with anger. Please accept my appreciation for putting your heart on the line for many of us who need to be reminded of the challenges faced and the progress made on the back of others who went before us... and our responsiblity to be non-judgmental, using God as our model. Uncle Big Bud is awesome... a must read for every generation regardless of their culture. We as a society cannot move forward successfully until we understand the past and its impact on our future.
